Remote Position - Technical Support
Position Overview
Remote IT Support Specialist needed to provide technical assistance and troubleshooting support to users. Join our IT team helping resolve hardware, software, and network issues remotely.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical support via phone, email, and remote access
- Troubleshoot hardware and software issues
- Install and configure computer systems and applications
- Resolve network connectivity problems
- Document technical issues and solutions
- Escalate complex problems to senior technicians
- Maintain IT inventory and equipment records
Requirements
- Associate degree in IT or related field preferred
- 2+ years technical support experience
- Strong knowledge of Windows/Mac operating systems
- Experience with network troubleshooting
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Remote support tools proficiency
- Customer service orientation
Technical Skills
- Windows 10/11, macOS support
- Microsoft Office Suite troubleshooting
- Network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP)
- Remote desktop tools (TeamViewer, RDP)
- Active Directory basics
- Hardware troubleshooting experience
Compensation
- $22-28/hour based on experience

Schedule
- Full-time: 40 hours/week
- Monday-Friday: 8 AM - 5 PM
- On-call rotation available
- Some weekend support required
